We are delighted to present to you our latest virtual capital markets event, Prime Brokerage Technology Outlook, which took place on Thursday 12th November.
2020 has seen huge volatility, a large change in investment behaviour, and a seismic shift in remote working numbers. These changes have required all financial institutions to reassess their platform readiness. Prime brokerage is a function that has always required robust systems, high uptime, and good connectivity, and we believe investment in prime brokerage technology can only be prudent.
But where should that investment be? Should it be in buying vendor products to expand the offering, or to replace legacy systems, or build new in-house systems to give a competitive edge? Other considerations are whether to move to cloud (as workforces and client bases have become more distributed) and whether to build or buy a platform with an established market player or challenger.
Watch our webinar where we discussed all of the above with our panel of prime CIOs, product specialists, and established and challenger vendors.
