1. How do you celebrate your achievements?
Every achievement—big or small—deserves to be savored. For me, celebration is all about intentional self-appreciation. Sometimes it’s a luxurious treat from Selfridges, other times it’s finally booking that spa treatment I’ve been putting off. Whatever it is, it’s always a “me moment”—a way to acknowledge my hard work and remind myself that I’m worth it.
2. What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Creative. Driven. Adaptable.
Creative—because I love finding fresh, engaging ways to tackle challenges. Driven—because once I set a goal, I pursue it with everything I’ve got. Adaptable—because life throws curveballs, and I take pride in my ability to pivot, adjust, and thrive.
3. Which of your traits are you most proud of?
My ability to balance introspection with deep human connection. I can be naturally introverted, but when it comes to people, I show up fully present—leading with understanding, listening with intent, and prioritizing meaningful interactions. Whether it’s a one-on-one conversation or a larger group dynamic, I make sure that every interaction counts.
4. What’s your favorite thing to come home to after a long day?
For me, home isn’t just a place—it’s a feeling.
The moment I step inside, I’m surrounded by the essence of us—my partner, my son Zion, and me. Our space reflects everything we love—fashion books, cool gadgets, unique collectibles. No matter how tough the day has been, walking through that door grounds me instantly.
5. What’s your greatest career success?
My 20s were a time of exploration—I found myself in roles rather than chasing a specific passion. By 32, I was a new mother, up for a promotion to Operations Director—but something didn’t feel right.
I had no formal HR background, but I had transferable skills, an unshakable work ethic, and a gut feeling that I needed to pivot. If I was going to spend time away from my son, it had to be for something that truly fulfilled me.
Within six months, I transitioned into employee engagement—starting on a temp contract and working my way up to Group Manager. That moment redefined everything for me—it proved that reinvention is always possible when you back yourself.
6. How do you start your mornings on the right foot?
My mornings go one of two ways:
Hit snooze a million times and somehow wake up even more exhausted. OR…
Jump out of bed, throw open a window, and blast a song that sets the tone for the day.
Lately, I’ve been choosing the latter—iced coffee in hand, dancing around the house with my signature two-step move. Fresh air, music, and movement? The ultimate energy reset.
7. If you magically had three extra hours in a day, how would you spend them?
Writing.
It’s my happy place—whether it’s capturing personal reflections, fleeting thoughts, or powerful everyday moments. Writing brings me joy, clarity, and creativity in a way nothing else does.
8. Is there a childhood experience that shaped your career or outlook?
Absolutely.
When I was 10, my mum left our home with just me and a suitcase. She walked away from everything she had worked for—but she never looked back. I remember her saying:
“It doesn’t matter—I’m not afraid of hard work.”
That moment shaped me. It instilled in me a fearless work ethic and an unstoppable mindset. Now, whenever I face a challenge, I remind myself: If something needs to get done, I’ll get it done.
