My personal and professional trajectories have been shaped by several experiences that make me the person I’m today. From an early age, I learned the importance of resilience and adaptability, and my career for over eight years has given me experience in different sectors, such as technology, finance and corporate, with a focus on attracting and selecting the best talent. Over time, I enhanced my skills in competence interviews, agile methodologies and recruitment strategy management and developed a strong taste for Employer Branding and Diversity and Inclusion projects.
My career choices have always been guided by my passion for connecting people to opportunities and having a significant impact on organizations. Throughout my experience in Talent Acquisition, I always sought companies that value innovation, agility and strategic thinking in recruitment - and that's exactly what I saw in Capco from the beginning.
My first impression of Capco was extremely positive - the people I interacted with were receptive, experienced and really in love with what they do. The environment here is dynamic, fast-paced and encourages growth, collaboration and continuous learning.
My trajectory at Capco has been marked by moments of growth, learning and challenges that boosted my professional evolution. I started here as a recruitment and selection analyst, focused on attracting strategic talent and connecting the company's needs with the best professionals in the market. Since then, I have had the opportunity to engage in impactful projects, improve my advisory recruitment skills and actively contribute to the candidates’ experience and internal and external processes of diversity and inclusion.
The company's culture fosters the exchange of ideas, promotes autonomy, and encourages the pursuit of innovative solutions, all of which has been essential for my development. As a woman and a disabled professional, I realize that Capco really puts into practice its commitment to inclusion and equity every day. Diversity here is not just a concept, but an essential part of organizational culture. Knowing that I’m part of a team that values this makes me even more proud to work at Capco.
One of the projects I’m most proud of at Capco was the implementation of a recruitment and selection strategy for a major financial player, focused on attracting highly qualified talent for strategic tech positions. The main challenge was to structure a more agile and efficient selection process, ensuring candidates undergo a fluid and positive experience, while meeting the client's technical and cultural requirements. In addition, there was a need to bring diversity to hiring, ensuring a more inclusive pipeline and aligned with best practices on the market. A striking experience during this project was the support of the leaders from both Capco and the client, who were open to new ideas and innovation. I also had the opportunity to improve my skills with new strategic recruitment methodologies and work alongside extremely qualified professionals. Finally, seeing the results of this project - from reducing hiring time to improved candidate experience - was extremely rewarding.
Outside of work, I’m a person who values genuine connections, so my family and friends play an essential role in my wellbeing. Being with people who support and encourage me gives me strength to face challenges and continue to grow. To recharge, I try to balance my routine with leisure and self-care activities, such as looking after my pets, watching movies or listening to music.
I am currently leading the affinity group Ability, which focuses on actions aimed at people with disabilities (PCDs) within Capco. I actively participate in the creation of actions that encourage hiring PCD professionals, as well as contributing to the awareness of the importance of inclusion within the company. We work to ensure that selective processes are more affordable, that candidates have adequate support and that leaders promote a truly inclusive environment.
My experience at Capco as a disabled professional has been extremely positive. I have a right-wing superior monoparesia, a condition that significantly affects my mobility, motor coordination and strength. From the beginning I was welcomed with respect and proper support to perform my activities in the best way possible. The company provided the necessary physical aids, ensuring that I had adequate adaptations in my work environment. In addition, there is a strong commitment to support my health limitations, including flexibility for medical appointments and a genuine understanding of my needs.
More than just offering structural support, I realize that Capco really practices inclusion in everyday life, promoting an accessible and respectful work environment. I am not viewed as a person with a condition, but recognized for my skills, achievements and the impact I can generate. This makes all the difference to me and reinforces how much the company values diversity and equity of opportunity.
