Capco employees in Chicago recently participated in the Junior League LeadHership Luncheon, which provided a valuable opportunity for professional growth and personal reflection. Attendees had the chance to engage with Junior League members and other inspiring, accomplished women.
During the event, I was particularly moved by a conversation with another attendee. She shared that she was celebrating her friend’s birthday by participating in the Junior League, which is a cause her friend deeply cared about. The genuine admiration and support she expressed for her friend exemplified true empowerment, showing how one person can inspire another, even without being directly involved in the cause.
A standout moment for me was a quote from one of the speakers: "I am okay with not having the answers, and that is okay." This resonated deeply with me and will influence my approach as I continue to develop as a consultant. Life does not always present clear answers to every question or challenge, and embracing this uncertainty is vital for personal and professional growth.
This luncheon was one of the most inspirational events I have attended in recent years. It was empowering to witness a diverse group of women supporting one another, and it sparked a renewed sense of hope and purpose. There is something truly special about women from all stages of life coming together to uplift each other and work toward creating a better future.
Reflecting on the overall experience, I realize how much it has expanded my perspective on leadership and the importance of empowering those around me. It has also reinforced my commitment to continue building strong relationships and offering support to those I care about. I am deeply grateful to Capco for providing this opportunity and for inspiring us to keep supporting one another in our professional and personal lives.
