We are on the brink of a new decade, and we live and breathe digital with countless mobile applications as part of our daily lives. Though on the flip side for companies, sustaining a competitive advantage by using digital applications requires faster time-to-market and a clear understanding of their customers’ journeys. Especially for organizations that carry significant technological and organizational baggage from the past, these companies need to transform the way they work to compete in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Digital brings simplicity to the everyday but digital transformation for companies, especially in banking sector, is complex. With the threat of major technology companies established in US and China (bigtech) or new challenger banks as competition, traditional market players must look at transforming their ways of working in the digital age.
