Bodo Schaefer is the Managing Partner of Capco’s businesses in Austria, Germany and Slovakia, and is based out of Capco’s Frankfurt office.
Bodo has more than 22 years’ experience in financial services consulting, covering strategy, business advisory, large-scale systems integration and technology transformation delivery. His professional services and industry expertise include post-merger integration of processes and systems for global banks and exchanges.
Bodo has successfully led process and efficiency optimization engagements, as well as offshore outsourcing programs, for leading European and global financial institutions. He has also managed several multi-year and multi-location core platform modernisation initiatives at large global banks.
Bodo holds an MBA from FOM University for Applied Sciences and Economic Management. He has authored a number of industry articles, including “Den Kampf um Innovation haben die deutschen Banken schon verloren” (Börsen-Zeitung, 2018) and “Das Homeoffice ist kein Zukunftsmodell” (Frankfurter Neue Presse, 2020).
