Olaf Wehrkamp is a senior partner in Capco’s Germany, Austria and Nordics practice and focuses on managing projects at some of Capco’s key financial services banking clients. In addition, he contributes to defining and delivering solutions for clients’ complex challenges as a subject matter expert for business strategy definition and business and IT transformation.
Olaf has more than 26 years’ experience in consulting for financial services clients, covering strategy questions, business advisory and large-scale systems integration and transformation work for banking, asset management, payments/securities and capital markets firms.
His engagements include multiyear complex transformation programs, managing project and program portfolios, IT strategy questions and target architecture definition, as well as package-based implementation work.
Following an apprenticeship at a bank in Berlin and a degree in business administration, Olaf started his career at Accenture in 1990. Within Accenture, he led as partner and managing director a workforce with clients in various countries, including Germany, France, Russia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He was also responsible for the capital markets industry program for several years and acted as client account lead for a large German bank.
Throughout his career Olaf has focused on delivering high value to the client and is known by his clients for his passionate work.
