Capco role and focus
Rob Heyvaert is the founder, CEO and the Chairman of Capco. He has led the growth and expansion of Capco over the past decade to establish the company as one of the leading global business and technology consultancies dedicated solely to the financial services industry. Capco serves the full financial services value chain, and has an established worldwide presence with over 1,000 employees in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Subsequent to the acquisition of Capco by FIS in 2010, Rob was appointed Corporate Executive Vice President of FIS. In addition, he is also a member of the FIS Executive Management Team. In his broader role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of FIS’s consulting services.

Professional background
Prior to founding Capco, Rob was formerly the CEO and President of Cimad Consultants, a systems integrator and professional services firm he established in 1989. Under his leadership, Cimad consultants became one of the leading consulting and software firms in Europe, employing over 1,400 people.

Cimad was sold to IBM and, and Rob was appointed General Manager of Securities and Capital Markets within IBM Global Services. In this role he developed IBM's overall strategy for the capital markets and securities segments before founding Capco in 1998.
