Lead From Where You Are: Pushing the Boundaries

Celebrate Women with Capco

We all know about the shortage of female talent in the financial services industry. While Capco can't resolve this issue alone, we are trying to make it better.

Capco places a strong emphasis on recruiting and attracting women to our workforce. In recent years, we've launched a formal mentoring scheme for our female performers at the senior level and improved female representation on our Global Executive Management Team.

Externally, Capco is celebrating March (International Women's Month) by:

  • Hosting a luncheon in New York City featuring author and speaker Carol Frohlinger, an expert on how women can negotiate to achieve personal and professional success.
  • Running a campaign urging Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter users to thank a woman who has inspired them in their career.

As part of our belief in corporate social responsibility, Capco also supports several gender initiatives. For example:

  • We have an ongoing relationship with Dress for Success, which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women. On Friday, Capco Toronto will host a breakfast with Beth Shaw, Dress for Success board member and managing director at Desjardins.
  • We aim to support programs that bolster science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education with a focus on girls. We'll be announcing some exciting new work in this space soon.

Capco is committed to women in financial services — and women and girls everywhere. Please join us in being a catalyst for positive change!
