Capco role and focus
Andrew King is a Partner in Capco APAC. Andrew looks after the HSBC Account across Asia-Pacific managing the relationship with many HSBC Senior Executives across the region and the delivery of our work to this very important strategic client. HSBC requires significant help in the regulatory, transformation and growth space and will continue to rely on Capco’s help both in the short and long term where our partnership with the Bank will continue to evolve and develop.
Andrew has significant experience operating in a commercial financial management environment across a variety of Sectors. Andrew has deep expertise in Procurement and Shared Services / Cost Management / Change Management having spent over 10 years working for Siemens PLC. He has off-shored P2P processes to India and set up near/off-shore centres prior to doing so.
Andrew has a deep understanding of HSBC having worked there and has a very good understanding of how to navigate the Bank aswell as understanding many of their key issues, challenges and problems including the areas where they need to digitize. He has managed the HSBC Finance relationship globally across the Bank (including Consulting for Operational Accounting, Account to report and Finance Transformation) and mobilized additional large programmes of Consulting delivery work across the Bank.

Andrew’s client experience has included securing large amounts of Consulting work across HSBC.
Before joining Capco – Andrew worked for KPMG helping to set up their Advisory services to HSBC across Asia-Pacific after they rolled off the Banks audit. He had direct reporting line to KPMG Board Members. Prior to this - He held a Senior Global role at HSBC being responsible for USD2.5bn of third party expenditure and becoming a member of the HSBC Global Cost and Investment Board. He joined the Bank from Siemens PLC where he held a variety of Senior Procurement roles. Andrew has a degree in Business Economics and now resides in Hong Kong.
Andrew is from Manchester in the UK – and a firm fanatical fan of Manchester United FC having watched them throughout the world.
